Way Up High is a little shop with a big heart based in Kirkley Village, Lowestoft. A beautiful street with lots of lovely small businesses. Our organisation is a registered non-profit social enterprise, offering the largest range of pre-loved children’s goods in East Suffolk. Since opening its doors in 2019, Way Up High has been dedicated to benefiting the community and helping local families by offering products at low affordable prices.

We work in partnership with health visitors’ teams, children’s services, hospitals and schools. Families are referred to us anonymously without stigma and care packages are produced from the kind donations received from the public.

 

The profits from the shop enable us to continue to run a community shop and subsidise and provide family referral packs. We are also securing funds for a larger location that will be able to offer a community room.  This will sit alongside our preloved shop and will offer a safe space for parent support groups and classes. The main objective is to bring families together, build communities and combat loneliness.
